Hardest Of Hearts; Chapter Ten.

Chapter Ten - Punch.

Hermione was literally frozen. Her best friend was kissing her. She sure as well wasn't kissing back. She needed to stop him, now. She pushed his chest and he stumbled back a bit but thankfully didn't fall to the floor. Hermione just glared at him. Of course with him being on Amortentia, he just smiled at her. Hermione was getting annoyed now. How many more people were going to end up 'being in love' with her? How many more would try kiss her? She turned around and ran to Draco, who was still shouting at Lucian. She grabbed his arm and pulled him towards the doors of the Great Hall. They stopped when they were outside.

"Harry just bloody kissed me!" She shrieked. Draco's jaw dropped to the floor, anger was sketched across his face.

"What?" He growled, moving his gaze into the Hall to look at Harry.

"Draco calm down! He's under the effects of Amortentia! He doesn't know what he's going! It's the exact same with everyone else!" Hermione cried.

"I know, I know!" He informed her. "But what I wanna know is why you? And how the hell did someone get their hands on Amortentia?" Hermione looked at her feet. "Are you not telling me something?"

She looked back up at him. "Well.. um.. I might have made a bit of Amortentia last week." She told Draco. His mouth fell open. "It wasn't because I want attention from this lot!" She shouted, pointing back inside the Great Hall. "You know how I feel about Ron.. Or should I say felt about him.. I'll explain that story later. I wanted him to fall for me. I researched this potion back at the beginning of the school year in the library. I wrote down how to make it then ripped it up after I had a long talk with myself about how I can't make him love me. But then I got annoyed and sick of everything when me and Blaise broke up and when you kissed me. So I made the potion last week. But when it was ready I threw it out! I only have one vile of it and it's in my room.." She trailed off. She needed to check if that vile was still there. She began running towards the staircase and Draco shouted after her.

"Where are you going?"

"I need to see if the vile is still in my room!" She shouted. "Keep everyone here! I don't want people jumping out from empty corridor's kissing me!"

Draco was annoyed beyond belief. He stormed back into the Great Hall and looked around. Lots of people now had that blank expression on their faces. As he walked toward the food table, he heard some students, two girls and four boys, asking where Hermione went. Oh my God, he thought, this is ridiculous! He turned to the punch bowl and was in the middle of pouring himself a drink when he heard Pansy scream. He paused what he was doing and turned to face her. She looked angry.
"What are you screaming about!" He demanded. She ran towards him, staring at the plastic cup he had in his left hand.

"DO NOT DRINK THAT PUNCH!" She yelled at him. He looked down at the cup that was half full. He then turned his gaze back to her and laughed. He shook his head in disbelief and downed the drink in one. Pansy just stared at him.

"Draco?" She asked, touching his arm.

He looked up and smiled at her. "Where's Hermione?" He pushed Pansy out of the way and headed for the door. Oh no, Pansy thought. She ran after him screaming her head off.

"Draco! STOP WALKING! I know where Hermione is!" Draco stopped dead in his tracks and turned to her, still smiling. She had also gotten the attention of most of the other students who were also obsessing over Hermione. Soon enough, they all crowded around her, demanding that she tell them. Pansy was seriously freaking out.

"She's out there, walking the halls of the school!" Pansy screamed the first thing that popped into her head, just to get everyone away from her. Some of the students began to run, others walked fast. Oh my God. This is crazy! Pansy turned to look around the room to see if anyone was still normal. Ron! She ran over to him and grabbed his arm.

"What are you doing?" He demanded, shrugging her off.

"You might have noticed by now that most of the student's are in love with Hermione! They're all gona wondering about the school looking for her! Did you drink the punch?" She asked him.
"No, I didn't." He told her.

She sighed in relief. "Good." She said, looking around the room. Everyone was gone looking for Hermione except for around 20 students. They all had confused looks on their faces, wondering where everyone went to.

"What's wrong with the punch?" He asked, raising his eyebrows.

"My God. Are you stupid or something? It has Amortentia in it! I did it to get payback on Hermione for stealing my man!" She screamed at him. Every head in the room was turned towards her and Ron.
Ron had a shocked expression on his face. "Bloody hell, Parkinson! How did you get the infatuation to be with Hermione though? Don't you need like a hair or something belongging to her?"

"Yeah you do. I tugged a piece out of her hair earlier on and finished making the potion. I then slipped two vile's in when no one was looking." She told him. "Come on, we need to find a professor and tell them that we need a potion to get rid of the effects of Amortentia. I know that Harry used one on you two years ago but Harry also drank the punch, so we can't ask him." They both rushed from the hall, in search of an adult.

Hermione was relieved when she found the vile safely still inside the drawer that she had placed it in. She ran back out of her room and into the common room, but stopped dead in her tracks when she saw Jason Huntingdon standing in front of the door. She had only talked to this boy once since first year on the Hogwart's Express. All she knew what that he was a Ravenclaw.

"Jason?" She asked. She didn't dare move forward.

"Hermione." He beamed, smiling.

"Can I help you with something?" She was clutching her wand now.

"You need to be my girlfriend! I can't live without you Hermione." He told her, walking towards her. Her eyes widened. Oh God, no. He put two hands on her shoulder and kissed her before she could do anything. She screamed and pushed him away. She pulled her wand out so fast and screamed "Impedimenta!". Jason fell to the floor unable to move. She stepped over his body and ran out of the common room. No one was around, Thank God. She made her way back down the stairs and ran into Luna Lovegood.

"Oh Hermione! I have been looking everywhere for you." Luna leaned in and kissed Hermione on the lips. Hermione grunted in frustration as she pushed Luna away. "Impedimenta!" She said. Luna also dropped. The more people in a body bind curse would mean less people trying to kiss her. She ran into about 13 people in total on the way to the hall. She used Impedimenta on them all. She turned a corner and saw Ron and Pansy run towards her.

"HERMIONE!" Ron shouted, running towards her. "Thank God you're okay!"

Hermione looked at both of their eyes but they seemed normal. She sighed in relief. "I just body binded 15 students! Your girlfriend included. She kissed me." Hermione told Ron. He laughed.

"We have been running around the school for 10 minutes now looking for a professor to help us get everyone back to normal. No luck so far though." Pansy sighed. "Oh, I thought you should know; Draco is also all loved up with you because of the potion."

Hermione's face dropped. No, Not Draco! She thought. They made their way back to the Great Hall, hexing more student's as they went along. Hermione had to hex Ginny because she tried to snog her. Ron hexed Hannah Abbot and Harry and Pansy hexed Blaise, Colin Creevy, Cho Chang and Neville Longbottom. Daphne Greengrass appeared behind Hermione but thankfully, Pansy hexed her too. They looked around as they entered the Great Hall, no one was there at all. They closed the doors and Hermione used a spell to lock it. They then sat down at a table nearest to the stage. They were silent for a few minutes but then Ron spoke first.

"Now would be the perfect time to tell Hermione, Pansy." He said, looking at his hands in his lap.
Hermione looked up. "Tell me what?" She asked, looking from one to the other.

Pansy took a deep breath then began to speak. "Don't get mad okay?" Hermione nodded. Pansy went into detail about everything that she had done and why. Hermione's mouth was hanging open for all of Pansy's speech.

"That was you in the library that night!" Hermione said, more to herself than Pansy. The girl nodded.
"Why were you looking up Amortentia anyway?" Ron finally spoke. Hermione jumped because she forgot he was in the room.

"Umm.. That doesn't matter." She said, blushing. She told them that she didn't use the potion on anyone and that she still had the vile of Amortentia in her bedroom. They believed her.
"There's something else I have to tell you." Pansy said, standing up. Both Ron and Hermione looked up at her, waiting for her to continue. "I also used the Imperius Curse to get Blaise to somehow distract the teachers. The only problem now is that he also drank the punch so I don't know where he sent them."

Hermione jumped up from her seat, her face red with anger.

"Hermione, calm down." Ron said, also standing up.

"No Ronald. I will not calm down." She screamed at him. She balled her fists up and in one swift movement, she punch Pansy straight in the jaw.

Chapter Nine - The Winter Dance.

Hermione opened her eyes as a beam of sunlight flooded through the open window. She narrowed her eyes as she felt strong arms around her waist. She was confused for a moment but then she remembered everything from the night before and she smiled. She then turned her head to look at Draco. He was truely breathtaking. Hermione lay like that watching him sleep for a few minutes until he said, "Why are you watching me sleep?" His eyes were still shut.

Hermione giggled stretched to kiss his lips. He kissed her back.

"Morning Mr. Malfoy" She said.

"Morning Miss Granger." He smirked. Hermione looked to her left at the wall and jumped up.

"What are you doing?" He asked, pushing himself into a sitting position.

"Look at the time! It's 1pm! It's the day of The Winter Dance!" She shrieked. Draco just laughed as she grabbed her clothes that were lying on the floor and left.

Hermione spent the day with Ginny, preparing for the night ahead of them. They had their dressed layed out on Hermione's bed, ready to be put on. The Dance was now an hour away. They both got changed and Ginny curled Hermione's hair and makeup. When she was done, Hermione stood in front of the mirror. A huge smile appeared on her face.

"Oh Ginny! Thank you!" She said, hugging her best friend. Ginny then got herself ready. Before they knew it, there was a knock on the door.

"Hermione, you ready? We have to go." Draco called to her through the closed door.

"I'll be in the common room in a minute!" She shouted back, taking another look at herself. When they were both ready, the descended the stairs. Draco raised his head as he heard them approach and he was speechless. Hermione looked amazing! She was wearing a crimson red dress, that started about her chest and ended above her knees. The top half of the dress was corset and the bottom half flowed out a little bit. She had red high heels on that made her legs look longer. Her hair was hanging in loose curls down her back and she was wearing red lipstick. He then moved his gaze to Ginny. She looked good too. She had a light blue dress that stopped at her ankles. Her hair was pulled back, leaving only two strands hanging around her face. They really were a sight to see. Draco walked towards Hermione and took both of her hands in his.

"You look amazing." He whispered, leaning his forehead against hers.

She smiled. "As do you, Mr. Malfoy." She kissed him lightly on the lips.

The three of them finally left and they met Dean at the door of the Great Hall. Ginny kissed him and they all headed inside. The room was beautiful. It looked nothing like the Great Hall. The walls had an icy looking effect to them, yet it wasn't cold in the room at all. Icicles were hanging from the roof and a crystal chandelier hung in the center. There were round tables placed around the walls, white table cloths and a single, long red candle on each. To the left, there was a long table with food covering it. At the front of the room where the teachers usually sit, there was a huge fountain made from ice. It was shaped as an angel with snowflakes around it. Beside the fountain, there was a stage set up with the band The Weird Sister's performing. Space was left in the middle of the room for a huge dancefloor. Hermione looked up to see that the ceiling was charmed to give the effect that it was snowing. The room really did look marvelous.

Draco let go of Hermione's hand as he went to get them drinks. Hermione was looking around for her friends when she felt a tug at her hair. She turned around so fast that she nearly fell over. Her eyes widened.

"What the hell Pansy?" Hermione demanded, rubbing the spot on her hair that Pansy had just pulled. The girl just smirked viciously and pranced away. What he hell was all that about? Hermione thought. She caught sight of Harry, Cho, Ginny, Dean, Luna and Ron beside the food and she made her way over to them. They talked for a few minutes then decided to sit down at a table. A minute later, Draco returned. She kissed him and began enjoying the night.

Draco asked her to dance an hour later and she accepted. They ran to the dancefloor, hand in hand. A fast song was playing so they jumped around like fools, not caring who was watching. The strangest thing happened then. Lucian Bole, the former Beater on the Slytherin Quidditch team, tapped her on the shoulder. She turned around. She couldn't help but raise her eyebrows when she saw him. Not once since they both started school had he talked to her. Yes, He was good looking and he was nice from what she had heard about him. Draco was also standing there, staring at his friend, confused.
"What are you doing Bole?" He asked, eyesbrows raised.

"I was told you are Hermione Granger. I love you." He smiled at her but his eyes were far away. Both Hermione and Draco's mouths dropped open.

"Um... We've never met before." Hermione informed him.

"I know." He smiled a dozy smile again. "Will you dance with me?" Before Hermione could answer, another boy she knew as Terence Higgs ran upto them and pushed Lucian.

"No, I want to dance with Hermione!" He demanded. His eyes were also blank.

Hermione moved closer to Draco, whispering in his ear, "Draco, what the hell is happening?"

"I was about to ask you the same question." He whispered back. "Here, guys. Leave Hermione alone. She's already taken." When he said this, Terence swung his fist towards Draco's face and Hermione shrieked. But of course, Draco caught the boys hand before it reach his face. No wonder he used to be seeker for the Slytherins. Ginny then ran upto them.

"Oh my God, Ginny!" Hermione said, "I have no idea what's happening! They just came upto me ou-" Hermione was cut off by Ginny hugging her.

"I love you Hermione Jean Granger." Hermione's eyes widened once again and she pushed Ginny back so she could look at her face. Her eyes were also blank. Realisation struck Hermione then. Oh no. She brushed Ginny off then turned to a rather pissed off Draco "Amortentia" was all she said. Draco understood immediately.

"But how? Why are they all attracted to you?" Draco rubbed his temples in frustration. "And where did they get the potion from?" Hermione just shrugged, turning back to the three people who were infatuated with her. She groaned when she realised more people were looking at her with their distant eyes. She stood there for a moment looking around the room. Then she spotted Harry. She ran towards him.

"Harry! Help me! I don't know how but loads of people drank Amortentia and now-" Harry raised a finger and placed it on her mouth to make her shut up. He smiled. Oh no, not Harry too. He grabbed her hand and dragged her towards a table.

"Hermione, have I already told you that you the most beautiful woman I have ever set eyes on?" He inched his chair closer to hers and gripped her hand tighter. Hermione looked around, hoping someone would help her. Her gaze stopped on Draco but he was too bust trying to fight off 5 boys and 3 girls. Oh dear God, Hermione thought.

"Um.. No Harry." Hermione said, pulling her hand away from Harry's. When she was sucessful, she started walking back over to Draco. Someone grabbed her arm and spun her around. Next thing she knew, Harry's lips were pressed up against hers.

A/N: Hey guys! Thank's for reading :) Sorry about the cliff hanger! R&R please :) Next chapter will be up ASAP!

Hardest Of Hearts; Chapter Eight.

Chapter Eight - The Mirror Of Erised.

A/N: Thank's for the reviews guys :) Here's chapter 8.

Hermione woke up the next morning smiling. She still couldn't believe what had happened the night before. Ron was bringing her to the Dance. She jumped out of bed and went to the bathroom to get ready for the day. Within 15 minutes, she was sitting in the common room reading a book. It was Saturday so she didn't have any classes. She looked up when she heard Draco's door open. He stopped when he realised that Hermione was there. He stared right at her but didn't say anything.

"Draco" She said.

"What Hermione?" He retorted.

She didn't answer him for a few moments. "What's wrong?" She asked. She knew quiet well what was bothering him, she just wanted to hear him say it.

"Hmmm let's see? I was about to ask you to go to the Dance last night, then the weasel showed up. You told me to shut up so that he could continue talking. He asked you to go with him and you said yes. So now I'm stuck going with Pansy." He said in an angry tone.

Hemione stared at him, her mouth hanging open. "Pansy? You're going with Pansy?"

"Yes, Hermione. Thank's to you, I'm going with Pansy bloody Parkinson." He growled.

Hermione couldn't believe her ears. She actually felt jealous. Pansy Parkinson? Ew. "Well, have fun." She said shortly. She stood up and left the common room before he could relpy. She made her way to the Gryffindor common room and ignored Harry and Ron as she ran upto Ginny's room. When she got there, Ginny and Lavender were the only one's in the room. She shot daggers at Lavender and the girl quickly stood up and left. Hermione was clearly angry and no one wanted to get on her bad side.

"What's wrong 'Mione?" Ginny asked, sounding worried.

"Malfoy." She hissed his name like a snake.

"What did he do now?" Ginny asked her best friend.

"He's taking Parkinson to the Dance!" She shouted, making Ginny flinch.

"So? You're going with Ron, are you not?" Ginny raised her eyebrows.

"Yeah I am. But still. Malfoy's going with PANSY PARKINSON!"

"I still don't get it?" Ginny said, clearly confused.

"Oh my God, Ginny! What don't you get?" Hermione growled.

"Hey, hey! Don't start taking your anger out on me!" Ginny shouted.

Hermione sighed and dropped onto Ginny's bed, "Sorry Gin. But what don't you get?" She asked.

"Well.. You're going with Ron. I don't see why you're so concerned with Malfoy going with Pansy. When did you find out that they were going together?" Ginny asked.

"About 10 minutes ago." Hermione replied.

"Okay, that's my point exactly. Ron asked you last night and you said yes, Hermione. Draco probably heard you and Ron talking and decided to ask Pansy. You really have no right getting upset about this if you told Ron that you would go with him." Ginny said, simply.

"Yeah, Malfoy was there when Ron asked me. He told me this morning that he was going to ask me to go with him right before Ron showed up. I guess I just got annoyed that he asked Pansy instead of me." Hermione told her the whole conversation that has happened the previous night.
"No Hermione. He was going to ask you first. He wanted to ask you. But you cut him off so you could hear what Ron had to say. If you would of told Ron to be quiet the let Malfoy talk, you would of been going with him instead of Ron. You can't blame him for your mistake."

"Ugh what's wrong with me?" Hermione shouted, burying her head in Ginny's pillow. "I want Ron to ask me. But at the same time I want to go with Draco! Ginny, who do I want?" Hermione whimpered.
Ginny was quiet for what seemed like an eternity, but then she finally spoke. "There's only one thing you can do, Hermione. Come on, follow me." Ginny grabbed Hermione's hand and pulled her from the bed. They walked through the common room, ignoring Harry and Ron once again, and went through the door onto the corridor.

"Where are we going?" Hermione asked, as Ginny dragged her along. She didn't answer her, she just kept walking. Hermione sighed. 5 minutes later they were on the 7th floor and Hermione looked around. "The Room of Requirment?"

"Yep." Ginny said, walking by the wall three times, mumbling something under her breath. A door appeared and Ginny dragged Hermione inside. They looked around and the only thing that was in the room was a huge mirror. Realisation struck Hermione then.

"The Mirror of Erised!" Hermione screamed in excitment, running towards it. Ginny just nodded and smiled.

"It will show you what you desire the most. Hopefully this will answer your question." Ginny said. She then turned to face the door to give Hermione some privacy.

Hermione let out a breath she didn't know she was holding. She walked towards the mirror, stopped in front of it and closed her eyes. A minute later she opened them and gasped. There stood Draco holding her hand, smiling. She looked behind her to make sure that he wasn't there. She looked back at the mirror and saw him kiss her on the cheek. She raised her hand to where he had kissed her and smiled. She turned around and ran to Ginny, hugging her. "Thank you" She whispered.

"Who is it?" Ginny asked.

"Well let's just say that I can't go with Ron to the Dance!" Hermione laughed. Ginny gasped and hugged her friend tighter.

"Draco?" Her smile was huge.

Hermione nodded and smiled back. Then she bit her lip. "How am I meant to tell Ron that I can't go with him? And Draco probably isn't even talking to me!" She sat down on the floor of the Room of Requirment and put her hands in her head. Ginny sat beside her, deep in thought.

"Tell Ron the truth." Ginny said and Hermione snapped her head up to look at her.

"What? I can't do that! 'Oh hey Ron, guess what? I wasn't sure weather I want you or Draco, so me and Ginny went and found the Mirror of Erised and it told me that I want Draco. So now I can't go to the Dance with you! Bye!'" Hermione rolled her eyes and laughed at herself.

"No. I mean tell him that you can't go with him because you don't want things to be awkward with him. Tell him that you have a crush on him and it would be weird because he's going ou with someone else." Ginny suggested.

"No way in hell am I telling him that I have a crush on him." Hermione said, shortly. Both girls sat there for another hour thinking about what to say to Ron. They came to the conclusion that Hermione would tell him that she likes someone else and really wants to go with him. They both left in search of him. They didn't have to look far; they found him still sitting on a couch in the Gryffindor common room talking to Harry. Ginny called Harry over to a table she was sitting at so that Hermione and Ron could be alone.
Ron took it surprisingly well. He didn't shout or anything. Instead he hugged her and told her that it was about time that she actually liked someone. Hermione hugged Ron, Ginny and Harry before running off to her common room. She needed to find Draco. Now. She said the password to the portrait and the door swung open. She ran inside. Her eyes widened at what she saw. There on the couch sat Pansy staring at the fire. Draco was nowhere to be seen.

"Where's Draco?" Hermione asked, startling Pansy. The girl jumped up.

"I was wondering the same thing. No one was here when I arrived."

"How did you get in then? You need a password." Hermione asked.

Pansy laughed. "Draco told me, of course!"

"Right.." Hermione said, sitting on one of the smaller chairs. Pansy sat back down on the couch. An awkward silence arose between the two girls. After a painful 30 minutes, the door opened and Draco entered. Both girls jumped up at the same time, looking at him. His eyes widened with shock.

"What are you doing?" He asked the both of them. Pansy began to speak stopped as Hermione ran to him. She stopped right infront of him and kissed him. He was even more shocked now, but kissed her back. He wrapped his arms around her waist as she wrapped hers around his neck. They broke apart when they heard Pansy shriek.

"HOW DARE YOU!" She ran over to Hermione, pointing her finger at her.

Hermione ignored her but turned her gaze back to Draco. "It's you. It's always been you." She said, smiling. Draco understood immediately and smiled back. He then turned to Pansy.

"I'm going to the Dance with Hermione."

Pansy screamed in frustration. "You wait you filthy Mudblood! I know your secret! You're gonna pay for this!" And with that she stormed away, slamming the door after her. Secret? What secret? Hermione thought. She decided to ignore what Pansy said and kissed Draco again. They both went upto Draco's room and spent the night together.

Hardest Of Hearts; Chapter Seven

Chapter Seven - Dates.

Hermione awoke the next morning feeling like crap. Her head was pounding and her stomach was flipping. She lifted her head to see where she was. The common room. She slowly sat up, trying not to make herself feel dizzy, but she failed. Everyone was still asleep in this room, except for Blaise. Where is he? Hermione moved her gaze towards the couch, where a sleeping Malfoy lay. She couldn't help but smile at the sight, he looked so peaceful. She raised her head to look at the clock and jumped up. Shit.
"Everyone get up! NOW! We're two hours late for class!" She screamed at the sleeping bodies that surrounded her. They began to stir.

"What's all the screaming about?" Harry asked, his voice groggy. Ron sat up too, confusion on his face.

"We're two hours late for classes! GET UP!" She repeated. This time the message got through to everyone and they jumped up.

"Ugh, can we not just sleep until lunch then go to the Great Hall?" Ginny asked, lying back down.

"No Ginny, we can't. Imagine what all of the professor's are thinking right now! All of the fourteen prefects, the two Heads and Harry Potter didn't show up for breakfast and aren't even in classes now!" Hermione protested. "Come on, get going back to your Dorm's and get ready for classes. Oh and if any teacher asks you where you were, just tell them that we had a meeting in the Head's common room this morning, okay?" Everyone nodded in agreement as they left. Hermione turned around to see Malfoy still asleep on the couch. Oh come on, she thought, how did he not wake up with me screaming my head off? She walked over to him and stopped. "Malfoy.. Wake up." She nudged his arm. He groanded and turned to face the other direction. "DRACO MALFOY! WE ARE TWO HOURS LATE FOR CLASSES. GET THE FUCK UP!" She screamed. He jumped up, still half asleep, shock all over his face.

"What the hell Granger?" He said, rubbing his eyes. He looked up into her eyes then all of the events from the previous night filled his mind. Shit. I wonder if she remembers. He stood up and headed towards the kitchen while Hermione went to her room.

There was no sign of Blaise, just a note on her pillow.

Hermione,
I'm sorry that I won't be here when you wake up, but I really need to clear my head. Everything that happened last night is driving me crazy. I know how you feel about Draco, I didn't miss anything last night. I feel guilty for taking advantage of your fight by having sex with you. We will talk about this later on, alright? See you then.
Blaise.

Hermione groaned in frustration. Why did I have to have sex with him? He's right, I do have feelings for Malfoy. I can't be with Blaise when I like his best friend, it's just wrong. When we talk tonight and if he says that he wants to try things again, I'm going to say no. I need to be fair to him. He's such a good guy.

She stood up and read the note again as she entered the common room. She looked around but Malfoy wasn't there. She then heard a noise from the kitchen and followed it. Malfoy was standing there, waiting for the kettle to boil. He looked up at her as she entered, then his eyes dropped to the note in her hand. She walked over to him and handed it over. He read it then looked up at her.
"Hermione, I'm so sorry." He said, handing it back.

"Don't be. It's not your fault. I'm going to officially break up with him anyway." She said, turning back towards the door. "See you later." And with that she disappeared through the common room door, out onto the corridor.

The day seemed to drag on for Hermione. She decided to skip the last three classes and made her way back to her dorm room. She rummaged through her bin and found the pieces of paper that was once a love potion. She grabbed her wand from her pocket and used a spell to put the pieces back together. She read over the potion again and made up her mind.

"I'm going to use a potion to make Ron love me." She said aloud to herself. But is this a good idea? Ron has Luna, he doesn't need me. But I need him. I'm so sick of these feelings I have for Draco. I'm so sick of feeling guilty because of Blaise. I just want the one boy who makes me happy without complications and I don't care what that costs me. She began brewing the potion. It says on the instructions that it would take four days to make. Pefect timing, she thought. I will slip it into his drink at the Winter Dance. He won't be able to resist me and I can finally be with him. It says that he has to drink it every so often for the effects to stay working though. Hmm.. Everytime he gets a new drink, I'll put the potion in it. She sighed then lay back on her bed. I am so selfish.

There was suddenly a knock on her bedroom door. She looked up to see Blaise entering. They talked for what seemed like hours but the end result was that they both thought that it will be better to just remain friends. Hermione was very happy by this. At least he was still in her life!
Hermione ran upto her room on the fourth day of the potion to find it complete. She smiled and placed some in a vile. It was now only three days until the Dance. She already had her gown because herself and Ginny headed to Hogsmeade the previous day.

She lay down on her bed, clutching the vile. Thoughts started running through her head again. Hermione, do you really want to do this? I mean REALLY? What if the plan fails? What if someone else drinks it instead of Ron? Or what if Ron finds out? He will never forgive me. And I highly doubt that Ginny or Harry will either. But I really want him. Ugh Hermione! If Ron wants you, he will come to you! Don't force him into something that he doesn't want to do. And it's not even real love! It's just infatuation! She must have been thinking for hours because when she looked at the clock, it was 10pm. She picked up the cauldrin with the potion in it and brought it to the bathroom. She sighed before pouring the whole thing down the drain. Four days I wasted making that damn potion, she thought. She went back to her room and threw the vile into the drawer on her desk.

"I hate boys." She said, pulling the handle of her door. She walked into the common room to see Malfoy standing nervously beside the couch.

"Are you okay?" She asked, stopping at the other end of the couch.

He looked at her and nodded. "Hermione, I want to ask you somethi-" He was cut off by a loud knock on the door. Hermione walked ove and pulled it open.

"Ron?" She asked in a confused tone. He was out of breath. "Where you running?"

"Yeah but I'm fine. I need to ask you something before anyone else gets a chance to."

"What is it?" She asked.

"Um.. Who are you going to the Dance with?" He stared at her. Malfoy head shot up, his mouth dropping open.

"Now hang on a minute! I was going to-" Malfoy was saying but Hermione cut him off.

"Shut up the both of you." She turned her gaze back to Ron.

"No one has asked me yet." She said shortly, turning her head to Draco. He flinched as she shot daggers at him. Ron noticed this and raised his eyebrows but quicly continued.

"Will you go with me?"

Hermione was taken by surprise. "I-wha-What about Luna?"

"Yeah I know that I'm her boyfriend and all but she promised her best friend that she would go with him." Ron informed her, rolling his eyes and smiling. "So.. will you?"

Hermione looked at Draco as she answered. "I'd love to." She smirked at him.

Draco couldn't believe what he was witnessing. Ugh, stupid weasel! Always getting in the god damn way! I was about to ask her! He hissed under his breath and stalked away into the kitchen. Hermione said bye to Ron and walked up to her bedroom. She couldn't stop smiling! Ron actually asked her to the dance! She jumped into her bed, pulling the covers up around her face. She drifted off to sleep a few moments later.

In the room next to her, Draco was outraged. How dare she give him that accusing look! He was going to ask her mere seconds before that weasel did! What is he playing at? He knows quite well how Hermione feels about him! Why would he toy with her like that, getting her hopes up when he already has a girlfriend? Stupid moran. Well there is no way in hell that I'm showing up to that Dance on my own! he thought. He jumped up from his bed and ran towards the common room door. He quickly made his way to the Slytherin common room and shouted Pansy's name. She showed up not even two minutes later.

"Draco!" She chimed, running to him.

"Will you go to the Dance with me?" He asked. I can't believe I'm doing this.

"Of course I will!" She practically screamed. She hugged him while he just stood there. He told her a moment later that he had to get going. He ran back to his Dorm and collapsed on his bed. Within a few seconds, he fell asleep.

Chapter Six - An Unexpected Party.

A/N: Hey guys! I just want to say thank you for all the lovely reviews! It make's me happy seeing them :) Also this chapter is slightly longer from the other 5, sorry about that. So here it is, Chapter 6! Enjoy!

The next few days were slightly awkward for Hermione and Malfoy. Ever since they nearly kissed in Hogsmeade, they couldn't stop looking at each other. They were sitting in the Head's common room when Blaise decided to actually say something.

"Um.. Can you guys stop staring at each other?" Hermione jumped at the sound of his voice. She completely forgot that he was sitting there at the other side of the table. She just couldn't seem to keep her eyes off of Malfoy's for long. It was really starting to annoy her. She kept asking herself the same questions over and over again. Do I like Malfoy? Do I really want to be with Blaise when I can't get his best friend out of my mind for two minutes? Do I even want Ron anymore? Her head began to hurt so she leaned back again the chair and rubbed her temples, closing her eyes. A few minutes later, she glanced at Blaise to see that he was looking at her, a questioning look on his face, "What?" Wa all she could say.

"Nevermind." Blaise said, flipping a page of the book he was studying. Hermione couldn't study right now. She closed her book and stood up, stretching. The two boys looked up at her when she headed toward the mini kitchen. "I'm getting a drink." Was all she said, as she disappeared through the door. She boiled the kettle and made herself a mug of Hot Chocolate. This always seemed to calm her down and remove her headaches. She took a sip and sighed. She stood there in the kitchen, leaning against the counter for a few more minutes, trying to clear her head again. When she wasn't getting any progress, she groaned in frustration and screamed. A second later both boys were in the kitchen by her side, looking around the room.

"What happened?" Malfoy asked.

"Why are you screaming?" Blaise said a second later. They both looked at each other then turned their gazes back to Hermione.

"Nothing." She said, continuing to drink her Hot Choclate.

"Well it's obviously not nothing? You screamed." Malfoy said, matter of factly.

"I'm aware of that Malfoy." She shot back, rolling her eyes.

"Well.. Why?" Blaise asked, leaning against the counter beside her.

"I always do it if I'm stressed." She said, shortly. She gulped the last of her drink and placed the mug in the sink and turned the tap. None of the boys said anything until Hermione placed the mug back into the cupard.

"Why are you stressed?" Malfoy asked in a low voice. She turned to look at the both of them and said "Because of boys." She walked by them and went back to the seat that she was sitting in before she left for the kitchen. The followed her in a minute later and they also took their seats. None of them pressed the matter any further. Blaise left about 15 minutes later to gather the rest of the prefects because there was a meeting being held in Hermione and Malfoy's common room. Blaise arrived back 20 minutes later with Ron, Hannah Abbott, Trever Birch, Miles Bletchley, Susan Bones, Luna Lovegood, Ginny Weasley, Lavender Brown, Diane Carter, Rachael Codnor, Ritchie Coote, Jimmy Peakes and Colin Creevey. All of the prefects took seats on the chairs and the floor in front of them while Hermione and Malfoy stood in front of the fireplace.

When Hermione had everyone's attention, she began speaking. "Okay, so as you all know, we are coming closer to the Christmas break when most of you will be returning home to be with your familes. Well Dumbledore wants us to have a special ball called the Winter Dance the night before everyone departs." Hermione paused as all the girls in the room began to giggle and whisper. Malfoy rolled his eyes and picked up from where she left off.

"We have the option of making this ball happen. It is now up to you lot. We are going to make a vote. All in favor of the Winter Dancem raise your hands." Immediately, all the hand's belongging to females shot up. Ron, Colin, Trever and Jimmy's hands also raised. "That settles it then. The dance will take place in the Great Hall the night before everyone goes home." Malfoy finished, turning to Hermione to tell her to continue.

"It's now up to us to sort out everything; decorations, food, drinks, music. Now myself, Draco and Blaise-" Hermione was cut off by Malfoy.

"Did you just call me Draco?" He gaped, his mouth hanging open. She turned to look at him.

"Well yeah, it is your name?" She replied, confusion filling her face. He nodded and then she continued.

"Anyways as I was saying.. Myself, Draco and Blaise have already made banners and flyers earlier on today. It's your job to hang them around the school to let all of the 6th and 7th years know. We have one week to sort everything out, so come see Draco and I before breakfast in the Great Hall tomorrow morning so we can give you the banners. Now any questions?" Hermione smiled, looking from face to face. Ginny's hand flew up into the air.

"Yes, Ginny?" Hermione asked.

"I was wondering, are we doing a certain theme or anything? Like dress wise?"

"What do you mean?" Lavender asked.

"Like colours. As in all of the girls have to wear one colour and all of the boys wear another?" She suggested, grinning. Hermione thought it over for a minute.

"That's a good idea. All in favor?" 9 hands shot into the air. "Okay, so it's now colour themed. Anyone have any suggestions for colours? Now we strictly only want basically two colours." Hermione said. The room was quiet for two minutes before Malfot spoke.

"How about girls wear red and boys wear white?" Hermione turned to look at him with a huge smile on her face. "That's brilliant!" She beamed. He smiled at her enthusiasm. "All in favor?" He asked. Every single hand in the room was raised.

"Perfect!" Hermione chimed. She was really looking forward to this now. Suddenly she frowned. "Damn it. I knew we should of waited to make the banners." She picked them up and showed the group. "We're going to have to make new ones." She stated. A moment later, everyone was getting to work on them. Hermione was sitting with Malfoy, Ginny and Blaise in the center of the room on the floor in front of the fire place. She glanced up at the clock and froze. It was 5 minutes to midnight. Oh God, she thought as she jumped up. They had been working for two hours straight.

"Is everyone nealy done? It's nearly midnight!" She exclaimed.

"I think we should make a night out of it!" Blaise suggested. Everyone looked at him, blank expressions filling their faces. He continued, "You know, we should all just sleep here and finish the banners, have a drink and a laugh?" Pretty much everyone agreed and all heads turned to Malfoy and Hermione. She looked at him for help but he just shrugged.

"I'm up for it if you are." He said raising his eyebrows, daring her. She smirked then said, "Bring it on." The room cheered as they all stood up.

"Okay, I'll go get drinks. Lavender, Ginny and Susan, you three go get sleeping bags for the girls. Trever, Colin and Miles, do the same for the boys. Anyone have music?" Blaise asked.

"I have muggle music." Hermione said, grinning.

"Perfect! Go and get it! When you all get what you need, come straight back here. Do not go wandering anywhere else. If we get caught, we are fucked." Blaise warned as he, and six other sudent's left. Hermione sprinted up to her room and retrieved her stereo and CD's. She heard a cough behind her and turned, knowing that it would only be one person. "May I help you?" She said, smirking.
"I'm surprised you're letting this party go down, to be honest." He laughed.

"You basically dared me to say no. I had to prove you wrong now, Didn't I, DRACO?" She retorted, sticking her tongue out. He laughed.

"I always knew there was a snake inside you somewhere Granger. Come on." He smirked, pulling her arm. By the time they were back in the common room, all of the boys were back. They were still waiting on the girls and Blaise. A second after Hermione was thinking about this, The girl's entered with Harry beside them.

"Harry!" Hermione chimed, running to hug him.

"Her 'Mione! Ginny invited me along. Hope that's okay?" He asked, smiling.

"Of course it is! You can help with the banners too." She made her way back over to where Malfoy was sitting on the floor and sat beside him, picking a banner up to examine it. Blaise returned a few minutes later with five crates of Butterbeer and five crates of Firewhiskey. Everyone gasped when he came through the door, the levitating crates in front of him.

"What?" He asked, amused but proud. "If we're going to make a night out of it, I thought we might aswell party!" He stated. Everyone laughed and began taking drinks. Hermione placed a silencing charm around the Head's common room and played her music. Half an hour later, all of the banners were finished. Hermione was full of glee as she examined them. They were all prefect! This is when Hermione let the party start properly. Everyone was dancing, drinking and having fun. Hermione headed into the kitchen to get some nachos for everyone. She stumbled and nearly fell, but arms came around her waist just before she hit the ground. She couldn't stop laughing.

"Woaah.. Calm down Granger. People might actually think that Miss goody-two-shoes is drunk." He taunted, a wicked smile on his lips. In fact, Hermione was drunk. Very drunk. She laughed again.
"For your information, Sir, I am not a goody-two-shoes. I am far from it, actually." She raised her eyebrows in a suductive mouth opened a little bit. Did he hear her correctly?
"Oh? How so?" He asked, leaning against the counter.

Hermione stood in front of him and pressed herself against him. She felt Malfoy's body freeze against hers. She stood up on her toes so she could reach his ear and whispered. "That's for me to know and for you to find out, sexy." That got him going. She was backing away, but he pulled her back against him. He looked into her eyes for a second then pplaced his lips on hers. He deepened the kiss straight away and she pushed herself closer to his frame. They kissed for what seemed like an eternity but it was actually only a few seconds. Hermione pulled away, looked into his eyes and said one word that ruined the moment. "Blaise." She walked back into the common room and found Ginny. She grabbed another Firewhiskey and started dancing with Ginny and Harry. Malfoy moved to the doorframe to watch her. He couldn't help but smile at the sight. She was so cute, he thought. His smiled faded quickly though, as Blaise came up behind her and spun her around. She nearly fell again, of course, but Blaise stedied her and placed his lips on hers. Hermione really got into it, because she wrapped herself around him, deepening the kiss herself. Malfoy felt a pang of anger and immediately wanted revenge. He stormed into the common room, his gaze resting on Lavender. He knew Hermione hated her, so she was perfect. He closed the distance between them and spun her around. She looked at him with a confused look on her drunk face. He took one last look at Hermione to see that she was looking at him with curiousity. He smirked then placed his lips on Lavender's, pulling her closer. Hermione's mouth fell open, as did pretty much the rest of the room. She felt a pang of anger run through her. How dare he kiss me then kiss that stupid bitch! This is like Ron all over again! She turned around to see Ron staring at them with amusment. He then shrugged and grabbed Luna into a tight embrace, immatating what Malfoy and Lavender were doing. She felt her chest close up, her heart aching. Two of the guys I have feelings for are kissing two girls that I hate. She felt tears in her eyes but blinked them back. She turned to Blaise and jumped up on him, wrapping her legs around his waist. She kissed him like she never kiss another boy before. They both came up for air a minute later, gasping.

"Bloody hell, Hermione!" Blaise whispered in her ear. She smiled as she glanced at Malfoy. He was staring at her, his mouth hanging open. She kept her eyes on him and moved her lips slowly to Blaise's ear. "Let's go to my room." she whispered, nibbling his ear. Jealously was written all over Malfoy's face. Good. I'm glad, Hermione thought. Blaise pulled his head back to he could look at her face, as if to ask was she being serious. She nodded and he carried her towards the door that leaded to her bedroom. As they went by Malfoy, she gave him a look of digust as her eyes shifted to Lavender then back to him. She shook her head at him just as the door shut.

They were gone, Malfoy thought. The girl I have strong feelings for and my best friend. Gone. To her bedroom. This cannot be happening! My God, Draco, you are so stupid! Why did you have to go and snog Lavender? Why? Just why? He groaned as Lavender slipped her arms around his waist. He shot her a fake smile then told her that he was going to the bathroom. He walked though the door that lead to his bedroom but walked straight by the bathroom and stopped outside Hermione's door. They didn't put a silencing charm on her room. He could clearly make out Hermione's moans and Blaise's heavy panting. He stood there in the hall, not wanting to believe it. They were having sex. He felt utterly defeated. He was beginning to get lost in hos own thoughts when the sound of Hermione screaming in pleasure brought him back to life. Her stormed away from her room and headed back to the common room. He looked at the clock and realised that it was now 4am. Shit, he thought, we have to be at breakfast in three hours. He sighed then sat on the floor infront of the couch were all of the prefects were. They had turned the music off now and they were all lying around talking. Malfoy tried his best to join in but he couldn't. Lavender sat beside him, and rested her head on his shoulder. He suddenly heard a door open and looked up to see Hermione walk in in nothing but underwear and Blaise's top covering her. Blaise entered right behind her, shirtless. All of the guys in the room wolf-whistled at him and Hermione blushed. She didn't look at Malfoy once. Probably ashamed, he though. Yeah that's it, she's ashamed. She headed for the kitchen and disappeared through the door as Blaise sat down with Susan and Colin. Malfoy was getting ready to jump up and follow her, but Harry got there first. Damn it, he thought. He got up anyway and made his way over to the kitchen but stopped just outside. No one had noticed that he had left the group, they were all too caught up in Blaise. He heard the conversation going on between Harry and Hermione.

"What was all that about Hermione?" Harry asked, amuzment in his voice.

"What do you mean? He is my boyfriend afterall. I can have sex with him you know." She said, shortly.

"I was watching you the whole time in that common room, Hermione. You and Malfoy." Malfoy stiffened at the mention of his name. It took a few minutes before Hermione replied.

"I don't know what you're talking about."

"Oh yes you do! Don't play dumb with me, Hermione Jean Granger! You like him, don't you?" Harry asked.

"No." Hermione said shortly.

"You do. It's so obvious. And he clearly likes you too. The way you were both looking at each other. Especially when he kissed Lavender. Your face dropped. And then when you kissed Blaise, He looked like his heart had just been ripped out, Hermione." Harry informed her. Before Hermione had a chance to reply, Malfoy walked into the kitchen. He looked at Hermione and in that moment, she knew that Harry was telling the truth. He looked broken. He got a glass from the shelf and poured himself some water from the tap. Hermione was about to talk to him but he cut her off by shaking his head. He left then and Hermione could hear the door leading to his room close. Harry took one last look at her before leaving and said. "I rest my case."

Hardest Of Hearts; Chapter Five.

Chapter Five - Hogsmeade.

Saturday morning finally came and everyone was making their way to Hogsmeade. Hermione met Blaise in the Great Hall which again started rumors flying around everywhere. They both sat down at the Gryffindor table like they have been doing for the past few days. Hermione didn't know if Blaise was actually her boyfriend. She never asked him and he never asked her. Hermione didn't mind though, sure she would love to have Blaise as her boyfriend but she was perfectly fine with hanging out with him all the time just as they were doing now. She didn't even care if they were just friends. Hermione looked around the Great Hall to see who else showed up for breakfast when her glaze rested on Malfoy just as he entered the room. He looked her her and stopped walking. She smiled at him but his eyes rested on her and Blaise's entertwined hands. He scowled at her and then continued to walk to the Slytherin table. Pansy was waving at him to sit beside her, but he wasn't i nthe mood of her, as usual. "Go away" He said, when she approached him. She ignored him and sat down anyway.

"Okay well Granger definitely used a Love Potion on Blaise." She said, matter of factly. Malfoy looked up from his food and glared at her in shock.

"What are you talking about?" He asked. She smiled, quite happy that she caught his attention.

"I found out something, but I'm not going to tell you." She said, her face turning serious.

"What, so Granger slipped Blaise a love potion?" He turned his attention to the both of them at the other table. They were both just talking and laughing. "Doesn't look like that to me. He doesn't look like he loves her, he just looks like he enjoys being around her." Pansy snorted and looked at Malfoy.

"Oh please, Draco. I know I'm right." She got up and walked out of the Great Hall. Malfoy decided to take matters into his own hands. He got up and walked over to the Gryffindor table. The entire Hall went quiet as people began staring at him. He cleared his throat to get their attention. When they looked up at him, he said, "Blaise, can I talk to you for a minute?" Blaise nodded and followed him out of the room.

"What's up?" He asked, crossing his arms over his chest.

"I heard a rumor.." Malfoy began. He didn't quite know how to tell his best friend that his feeling for Granger aren't real.

"Oh really?" Blaise suddenly looked interested now. "What is it?"

Malfoy hesitated then answered. "I heard that Granger slipped you a love potion, that's why you are attracted to her." Blaise stared at him for a moment then burst into laughter. "What are you laughing at?" Malfoy asked, his moth hanging open.

Blaise calmed down and then answered his best friend. "Mate, I think I'd know if she slipped me something." He bagan laughing again. "Anyways I know the effect of love potions. We studied them last year. If she did give me one, I'd be following her around with a love sick expression on my face. My eyes would be empty and I'd always be smiling. I wouldn't of even left her alone in there to come talk to you." Malfoy thought this over and then nodded. Blaise continued. "Who did you hear this from anyway?"

"Pansy." Malfoy said. "She said that she found something out and that she knows that she is right."

"Pansy said it? And you believe her? Nah mate, she definitely made it up." Blaise smiled.

"I don't believe her. She just sounded so sure, So I just wanted to make sure myself, you know?" Malfoy explained, looking at his feet.

"Alright then. Hey, you going to Hogsmeade?" Blaise chimed.

"Um no I don't think so. You're going with Granger and I really don't wanna be stuck with Pansy." Malfoy gave Blaise a half hearted smile.

"Come with us." Blaise suggested. Malfoy thought about it for a while, but then nodded. Sure, he might aswell go. They both headed back into the Great Hall and sat with Hermione. They talked, laughed and joked until it was time to leave. When 11am came, the three of them plus half of their year left for a relaxing day in the place that they loved.

When they arrived at Hogsmeade, the three of them headed to The Three Broomsticks to meet up with Harry, Ron, Ginny, Dean and Luna. When Hermione, Blaise and Malfoy entered, the rest were already there, seated down the back of the pub at a table in the corner. They made their way over and joined them. They all ordered a drink and talked for about an hour. Ginny then stood up and grabbed Hermione's hand, saying that she wanted to speak to her alone. They both walked towards the bar and Ginny began to speak.

"Will you come to the Hairdressing Salon acroos from Honeydukes with me? I want to get my hair done up for Dean." Ginny asked, her cheeks flushed. Hermione's smile widened.

"Of course I will! I'm just telling Blaise where I am going. I'll be back in a second." She said. She approached everyone at the table and bent down to whisper in Blaise's ear. "I'm going to get my hair done with Ginny. I'll meet you outside Honeyduke's in half an hour." He nodded and leaned in to kiss her. "I'll see you later, Hermione." Malfoy heard everything that Hermione had whispered and rolled his eyes. He really was getting sick of being a third wheel. He glanced over his shoulder to look at Hermione and she saw him as she was leaving. She blushed then pushed the door to The Three Broomsticks open. With a blink of an eye, she was gone. Malfoy sighed and picked his Butterbeer up and downed it. He stood up and as everyone turned their focus on him, he said, "I'm going for a walk." He left the pub before anyone could respond to him. He really wanted to be alone right now. Well he did enjoy being with Harry and his friend's but it just wasn't the same because Blaise was all over Hermione constantly. Yes, he will admit that he did have a thing for her, but ever since she forgave that weasel, he decided she wasn't worth it. I bet you anything that if I would of done that to her, she would never forgive me, He thought. He had been so deep in his thoughts that he didn't even notice where he was walking to. He looked up and realised that he was outside the Salon that Hermione and Ginny went to. He looked through the window and his mouth dropped open. Hermione had died her hair a gorgeous chocolate brown colour, which really made her brown eyes stand out. She also got a good bit taken off the end of her hair so that it stopped just after her shoulders. She was truely breathtaking. He turned his gaze towards Ginny and even she looked gorgeous too. She cut her hair up to her shoulders and her hair was now dyed redder than it had been before. Both girls were making their way out of the shop and Malfoy realised that he didn't have anywhere to go so that they wouldn't see him. He stood there, hand's in his pockets as they descended the steps outside the shop. Hermione looked up and saw him looking at her, a smile playing on his lips. She stared back at him, getting lost in his gorgeous grey eyes. She was brought back to reality by Ginny coughing loudly. "Um.. I'm going to go meet Dean. I'll see you later." She chimed, practically running down the street before Hermione could even open her mouth to protest. "Hi." She said, looking at her feet.

"You looking amazing." Malfoy said, smiling. Hermione looked up and couldn't help but smile back.

"Thanks. Think Blaise will like it?" She asked, pulling at her curls. Malfoy took a few steps forward so that he was inches away from her face.

"He would be crazy not to.." He trailed off, staring into her eyes. Hermione couldn't breathe. He was just inches away. All she had to do was move her head a tiny bit forward and she would be kissing him. No Hermione, she thought, you have a god damn boyfriend. Ah, but you're not actually going out with Blaise. "Thanks.." Was all she managed to breathe. He was now staring at her lips, biting his own lower lip. Should I kiss her? he thought. He was going to do it. He was going to kiss Hermione Granger. He leaned in, but jumped back when he heard a voice calling to them. "Hermione! Malfoy! We're going to Honeydukes! Come on!" He turned to see who it was. Ron of course. He groaned in frustration and Hermione took one last look into his eyes before turning to walk towards Ron. They spent the next hour in Honeydukes then they went over to Zonko's Joke Shop. It was 6pm when they were finally finished, and together, they all headed back to Hogwarts for Dinner.
